My husband I have always had money problems since the day we got married the problem was I liked to spend on clothes and he liked to eat out. Instead of owning up to what we were doing we would hide if from each other. This was not good each month when the bills would come we would barley have enough to cover the bills and groceries yet each month we would spend more and more until we were so in debt that we couldn’t see the future because of all the bills.
We were miserable with all the spending, each time the phone rang we dreaded it fearing it would be another creditor calling to collect past due fees. We just kept getting lower and lower. Then one day we had, had enough. We had both had it so we invested in a budgeting class and started the road to changing our lives. It took a lot of time and work on both of our parts but now if we feel like eating out or going shopping it’s not so bad we can feel free to do it just within limits it literally saved my marriage and it can help you too you just have to want it.
Is your credit score really all that important? The answer is yes and no at the same time. Let me explain you do have to have good credit to buy a house, buy a car, loan any money, ect. The banks will always pull up your credit anytime you do anything through them and if you have bad scores it shows them that they may not want to go into business with you. But is it a bottom line? Not exactly there are several ways out there to still get what you want and not have to have a great credit score. For example there are many cal lots out there that are buy here pay here which means they do their own lending.
So that means for you they have a lot of more wiggle room and can usually make a deal with you to get you that car the down side to not having good credit you may pay more in interest than someone with better credit than you. Also while you’re looking for houses you may have to just put more money down than someone with better credit scores than you do. It just depends on the bank you’re working with but you may have more options than you think.
